When i was pregnant with Zafirah, Nizam and me was given to opportunity to catch the NDP 2005 @ The Padang as SPECTATORS .... normally kena keje kan pat 55-feet Grand Stand ... so tat time, we get to join Singaporeans .... our tickets were courtesy of Nizam's younger brother who was performing in the band for the Opening Sequence.
At that time I was 6 months pregnant and i still remember how much and how fast Zafirah kicked in my tummy for every loud noise she heard ... and she was so restless during the fireworks ... at that time, the fireworks which i normally looked forward to wasnt as exciting as those cute jiggly kicks felt only by me 
This year 2007, thru out July to yesterday, the BIG DAY itself ... Zafirah has been extremely excited for she get to see the previews of aerial displays and fireworks from the comfort of her home. Cos we get to see the planes passed by our home and she will hug me closer cos of the loud noise.
